Award List Event Details Privacy Policy

Details of lucky draw rules and notes of attention:

1. Product will need to be purchased in East and West Malaysia and exclude replacement products in order to enter this lucky draw event.
2. Any invoice that enters the lucky draw shall have a date of purchase between 7 December to 31 December 2020 and product name and quantity shall be legible on the invoice.
3. For those who wish to enter the lucky draw, do complete your registration before 31 December 2020 23:59 on the website in order to be eligible for the event.
4. Each invoice shall be eligible to enter one lucky draw and redeem the prize. Event participants shall ensure the accuracy of all information filled in on the invoice registration webpage. Do not use information of another party. If any violation to the event rules is reported and verified, the Organizer, Garmin, (hereinafter referred to as the Organizer) shall have the right to cancel the eligibility to enter the lucky draw and to redeem the prize.
5. The list of names of the lucky draw winners will be announced before 8 January 2021 on the event website. The Organizer will send out a notice according to email registered E-mail and winners shall reply with the information required before 15 January 2021 in order to verify the eligibility for winning and prize redeem information. If one of the following occurs: reply with information required later than the scheduled date, ineligible or missing information, rights to redeem prizes are automatically cancelled. No replacement for prize redemption is allowed. The Organizer will handle the prize wards at its discretion. Matters that are not detailed after the announcement of winners shall be governed by the announcement of winners.
6. If any prize of the event cannot be delivered due to missing or incorrect information provided by the participants, the right of prize redemption shall be regarded as automatically cancelled. No replacement shall be made.
7. This event is only eligible for prize collection in West Malaysia.
8. Vendors, distributors and products purchased by employees of the Organizer shall not be eligible for this lucky draw event. If any violation to this term is found, the Organizer shall have the right to cancel their eligibility to redeem any prize.
9. If any delay, failure, mistake, unrecognized or damaged information for winning, registration and sending out by a participant results from causes of the computer, the Internet or technology that cannot be blamed on the Organizer. The Organizer will not bear any legal responsibilities and participants shall hold no objections.
10. Use of computer program to influence the event result or damage fair competition is strictly prohibited and violations of this term will result in cancellation of winning eligibility. The Organizer also reserves the rights to claim for compensation from any damage behavior.
11. Event terms and conditions shall be governed by the announcements made on this website. When participating in this event, participants are regarded as accepting the terms and regulations here. No additional notifications will be given for any changes and modification of terms and conditions.
12. If this event is suspended due to any cause, the Organizer shall have the right to cancel, terminate, change or suspend this event. The Organizer reserves the right to change event terms and conditions at any time. If there is any force majeure event, the Organizer shall have the right to replace prizes with products with the equivalent values.

Terms and Conditions of Privacy Rights Protection

According to Article 8.1 of the Personal Data Protection Act, (hereinafter referred to as the PDPA, ) consumers need to be informed of the items below when participating in the 2020“ Show your moment-to-moment caring to ____” event (the Event). Please do read the full information before participating in the Event and participation in the Event is regarded as the acceptance of terms and conditions of the Event.
●Company in charge of personal information collection: Garmin (hereinafter referred to as the Company).
●Purpose of data collection: to host the Event
● Type of personal data: participants are required to register various types of data including: (name, telephone number and address.)
● Duration, area and party and method in terms of uses of personal data:
● Duration: duration for the specific purpose of personal data collection shall be dependent on the relevant laws or terms assigned in the contract or that duration, deemed as necessary for the Company to carry out relevant event operations.
● Areas: areas where the location of receivers is not restricted for international transmission of personal data by the competent central governmental agency in Taiwan.
● Parties: necessary personnel of the Company and the entrusted organizations by the Company for carrying out the Event.
● According to Article 3 of the PDPA, participants of the Event understand the Organizer shall be able to exercise rights below:
● He/she shall have the right to make an inquiry of and to review his/her personal data, but the Company has the right to charge necessary cost according to laws.
● He/she shall have the right to supplement or correct his/her personal data, but according to terms and conditions of the Event, proper explanation shall be provided.
●He/she shall have the right to demand the cessation of the collection, processing or use of his/her personal data, but if the Company needs the said items to perform job duties, the request of the participant may not be accepted.
Influence of rights of participants when no personal data is provided:
Participants of the Event have the freedom to choose whether or not they are willing to provide the Company their personal data. If the provision of relevant personal data is rejected and the Company finds that there is no sufficient information to identify the correctness of the participants’ status or whether or not information is accurate or misused, the participant will lose his/her eligibility for winning and prize redemption.
When participating in this Event, participants are regarded as accepting all the terms and conditions of this Event.
